Acetronic MPU 1000 Video Game System Radofin-1292 (1976)

ACETRONIC, a London based company distributing video games in the late seventies. In the early eighties, they licensed/distributed SciSys products.

The 1292 Advanced Programmable Video System is an early video game console.
It was first made by Radofin in UK in 1976.

Here, a photo of the console, I recently acquired.

From a collector of the MPU 1000, I got the following information.
This console was licensed to other companies to make their versions in other countries:
• Radofin (mainly Germany and other parts of Europe)
• Hanimex (Australia and parts of Europe)
• Fountain (Australia and New Zealand)
• Prinztronic (United Kingdom)
• Lansay (Parts of Europe)
• Grandstand (United Kingdom and other parts of Europe)
• Audiosonic (Parts of Europe)
• Acetronic (United Kingdom, and other parts of Europe)
• Rowtron (parts of Europe)
