ChessEval Forum is waking up again

Dear ChessEval members and visitors,
ChessEval has been online since 2017. For many years, this forum has been a quiet but valuable place for people interested in dedicated chess computers, their history, their technical problems, their rarity, their design, and their place in the history of chess and computing.
Even when the forum has been silent, many visitors have continued to come every month, read old discussions, look for information, and search for answers. This tells us something important: the interest is still here.
I would now like to wake up the forum again.
You do not need to be an expert to post here. A simple question, a photo of a machine, a repair problem, a missing adapter, an eBay listing, a manual, a memory, or a story about your first chess computer can be useful to others.
Dedicated chess computers are part of chess history. Many machines are now old, sometimes rare, sometimes forgotten, sometimes difficult to repair or identify. If you own one, even a very common model, your experience may help preserve this history.
Please feel free to post about:
Welcome back to ChessEval.
