Introducing DaveC

Unread post by DaveC » Mon Aug 14, 2017 4:56 pm

Hi Maurice and Hans,

I am Dave Castle and my first chess computer was a MGS Sargon 2.5 maybe around 1980(?). Inputting moves was a little challenging so next I purchased a Fidelity Elite A/S and really enjoyed playing with it. Now I mostly enjoy wooden auto-sensory chess boards with stronger programs. The new Millennium Exclusive is my latest addition.

I have often visited the ChessEval website to learn about unusual chess computers in your exceptional collections.

Thank you for hosting this forum,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Welcome to the Forum!
The MGS Sargon 2.5... and all its modules.
It was not only a chess board, but also a card game: Las Vegas 21 (Black Jack) and... an Othello game: Odin.
Thank you for joining us.
Best,

Maurice
