Novag Robot Adversary...

Unread post by CHVL » Sun Oct 08, 2017 7:29 pm

A beautiful Novag Robot Adversary... working...
The Robot Adversary is a rare Chess Robot Computer, but when it is working, it's exceptional!

The seller is a very serious collector and credible reference.
It will be a fierce battle to have it...

Hello,

I think that's the one I repaired in 2013. In fact, both the photos and the linked videos are mine. I'm surprised! This chess computer is not mine, and I had nothing to do with this sale. :(

Regards,
Berger

Hello Berger ,Maurice

Yes a true nice view to see a working robot
But there is a matter that would fear me when u win the action on ebay and lets say u are from Netherlands
The Shipping is the biggest concern i think ,how big is the chance that it will arrive not working ore broken...

Hi Berger,

I know the seller "keckteh". I was buying from him some computers many years ago. He was always very professional and reliable.
He is probably one the biggest Spanish collector.

Hello Hans,

True. Really, I think that the chance to have it broken at destination are very high.
Some years ago, I repaired a Robot Adversary and I shipped it to a friend. The package never reached its destination. After two months, the package came back completely ruined. I got a reimbursement for "old computer without value"...

For sure, you didn't receive it... ;)
I sent it to Mike Watters, but it never reached its destination and came back completely broken.
Again a shipping casualty.
