Maybe it is a scam, but the attitude of some chess manufacturers is far to be honorable: money pressure is obvious in my opinion. Stealing ideas was at the beginning of chess computer history. Repetition of the same pattern.

Finally, project is suspended and pledges are canceled.
The idea of the ideal e-board is compelling.
I hope that somebody will do it. The electro-magnetic net under the board is maybe a solution.
